# react-nodegui-starter [![All Contributors](https://img.shields.io/badge/all_contributors-1-orange.svg?style=flat-square)](#contributors) **Clone and run for a quick way to see React NodeGUI in action.** ## To Use To clone and run this repository you'll need [Git](https://git-scm.com) and [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/download/) (which comes with [npm](http://npmjs.com)) installed on your computer. From your command line: ```bash # Clone this repository git clone https://github.com/nodegui/react-nodegui-starter # Go into the repository cd react-nodegui-starter # Install dependencies npm install # Run the app npm start ``` node-gyp (NodeJs's build system) is not compatible with Visual Studio 2019 yet. So you will need to install Visual Studio 2017 to work with native modules in NodeJs and NodeJS build toolchain doesnt support it aswell. Install Visual Studio Community 2017. Download the Visual studio Installer and install Visual Studio Community 2017. Make sure to choose "Desktop development with C++ " workload and install it. ## Resources for Learning NodeGUI/React NodeGUI - [nodegui.github.io/nodegui](https://nodegui.github.io/nodegui) - all of NodeGui and React NodeGUI's documentation ## License MIT ## Contributors ✨ Thanks goes to these wonderful people ([emoji key](https://allcontributors.org/docs/en/emoji-key)):
